Marrakech Easter Break

We spent 4 nights in Marrakech over the Easter period of 2018. Our flight from London Stansted to Marrakech took just under 4 hours. We flew with Ryanair on a pleasant outbound flight.  Immigration was pretty hectic with long queues. Don't forget to get and fill in a landing card before queueing and don't forget to take a pen with you!
We opted to stay in a Riad in the Medina. Although in the Medina, the property has to be accessed by foot, making it a calm and peaceful oasis admits the hustle and bustle.

To visit the souks, we hired a guide arranged through our road. We opted for the half day option (4 hours), which was ample time. You do not have to hire a guide, for us it was a great decision considering the amount of pressure the sellers give out.
A feast for the eyes.

Beautiful leather slippers.

Refreshing fresh juices.

Activities to try out:
Dune buggies.

Camel ride.

Food:
Chicken tangine

Azur restaurant steak meal

I look forward to visiting one of my favourite cities so far very soon.
